Open Studio Night is PICA’s most popular series of artist talks that connect you personally with current studio residents and provide invaluable insight into the artists’ processes and practice.
PICA’s first open studio for 2017 brings you two outstanding multi-disciplinary artists. Beginning from a ‘found’ image, Danielle Reynolds (VIC) examines the dog as a metaphorical vehicle for human absurdities. Jenn Garland (WA) will develop works that simulate places in the process of being ‘unmade’ and returning to landscapes. Join us as we are taken inside the artist studios with PICA’s Senior Curator, Eugenio Viola.
WHEN: Tuesday 4 April, 7.00 – 9.00pm
WHERE: Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA)
