Jill Brown
Jill is currently Project Officer at Community Arts Network WA where she manages funding programs for communities in regional Western Australia. Formerly Jill has worked at Artsource and as a Regional Arts Development Officer in the South West region.
Originally one of the first employees of Propel when it began in early 2003, working as the Metro Field Officer and then as the General Manager before leaving to travel overseas in early 2006; she is delighted to be back working for young people and the arts.
Committed to the role of arts as a tool for community development, Jill has witnessed first hand how creative projects can transform young peoples’ lives.
Jill has a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Film from Curtin University and is inspired by storytelling in its various forms.
