Amy Hammond
Amy serves as both Propel’s Youth and Indigenous representative. A 23 year old Kamilaroi woman from Moree NSW, Amy moved to Perth in 2004 to attend WAAPA’s Stage Management course, graduating in 2006.
Amy is currently a Venue and Technical Manager at Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Coorporation, recently returned from an overseas tour to London for the inaugural Origins festival: Festival of First Nations. She has also been the recipient of both the Bendat Family Foundation Perpetual Youth Scholarship 2009 and the ECU Vice Chancellors Indigenous Australian Scholarship 2008.
