What's On
ARTifacts 7/11/09
ARTIFACTS is a day of colour, collaboration, inspiration and creativity involving young artists creating unique art pieces out of 2nd hand goods and op-shop items.
For this event we have assembled over 15 artists from different styles and backgrounds as a well as a whole swagload of paint, spray, paint and assorted art materials. We will be getting together a motherload of items to turn into unique and wonderfull pieces of art including, – plates, mugs, toasters, lampshades, surfboards, clothing and other eclectic items.
All Artworks created will be on sale on the day.
- Profits from the event go to Propel Youth Arts WA- an organization that supports the arts via a range of courses and sponsorship offers.
So come down and pick yourself up a one off- unique piece of work designed and created by the varied and creative talents of Perth’s young artists!
We also invite you to bring an item of your own and have it decorated by our team.- Nothing huge as there will be limited time to spend on each item.
In addition to the markets, a host of other great events are happening on the day in the same area as part of the Northbridge Festival including Wall painting and live performers. Come and see what the festival has to offer!
