Welcome to the 2009 AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things. A showcase of the latest and greatest new media, film, animation, contemporary dance, sculpture, installation, street art and theatre, right here in the Perth CBD!
Check out one of the shows and become a part of the art in the Museum of Everyday Life! In this fascinating exhibition, the audience is transformed into a photographic work of art.
The bizarre Les Cubiténistes use signs, music and movies to sculpt groups and individuals to create a ‘big book with you inside.’ The photographs are printed instantly and displayed in a growing exhibition throughout the AWESOME Festival.
Come along and help us capture the weird, wonderful and absurd of Perth.
