Marionette Carving for Adults 4/03/10 to 29/04/10
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is delighted to announce the dates for our next marionette carving course with our Head Puppet Maker, Jiri Zmitko.
Running from Thursday 4 March through to Thursday 29 April, this comprehensive course will cover the skills and techniques necessary to carve your very own beautiful, Sicilian marionette.
The course is open to novice puppet makers as well as those with some experience. Beginners will carve out a male form whilst the more experiences students will be encouraged to attempt the more detailed female form.
The cost of the workshop is $450.00 for 9 weeks tuition as well as all materials and the hire of a chisel set. Class sizes are kept small to ensure an intimate and productive learning experience. Do contact us to secure your spot!
