Fashion Design and Illustration WORKSHOP 8/04/10 to 9/04/10

Explore the art of fashion with local designer Elisha Quintal of The Butcher and the Crow fame.

Over 2 intense workshops at Challenger TAFE in Fremantle, learn the finer details of fashion design. Elisha will teach you the ins and outs of the fashion world. You will go through the complete process a designer must go through. From concept to production, you will learn techniques that make a garment and fashion line unique.

Participants must be available for both workshops

Elisha Quintal, The Butcher and The Crow

The Butcher and The Crow designer Elisha Quintal has been designing since she can remember. Graduating from Curtin University in 2008, Elisha has a degree in Fashion Design as well as background study in fine arts. In a gap year before she graduated she studied pattern making and traditional tailoring at Challenger TAFE. She explains that The Butcher and the Crow plays with the opposing ideas of deconstruction and construction and turns it into a narrative of sorts. The label personifies our way of breaking things down and putting them back together again in our own individual way.

All twentyten workshops are FREE for Propel Youth Arts WA members. If you’re not a member, don’t fret! Membership is free so join now
