Urban Art Workshops 2/06/10 to 1/07/10
Join artists David Garland, Drew Straker and Mike Barker for three, free workshops on aerosol art techniques.
Young people, between 15 and 24 years of age, in the metro area, are welcome to sign up for workshops at one of the following locations:
The Cave, Maddington
- Fri, 18 Jun: 12-5pm
- Mon, 21 Jun: 3-6pm
- Mon, 31 Jun: 3-5pm
Armadale PCYC
- Wed, 2 Jun: 3-5pm
- Wed, 16 Jun: 12-5pm
- Wed, 23 Jun: 3-6pm
Places are limited. Sign-up closes Friday, 28 May.
Everyone at the workshops can also enter the PTA Urban Art 2010 Competition. The winner, as voted by the public, will help develop the concept for the Thornlie Train Station.
- The free workshops are part of the Public Transport Authority’s Urban Art Project, a program giving young people the chance to create urban art pieces while being mentored by professional artists.
