Home Is Where My Heart Is 2010 5/08/10 to 15/08/10

Home Is Where My Heart Is returns in 2010 to explore the concept of home through the eyes (and cameras) of 9 young homeless people. Mentored by 9 of Perth’s brightest emerging photographers, these young people will capture images of what ‘home’ means to them. Their diverse interpretations of ‘home’ show that everybody needs a place to call their own.

The photos taken will be displayed at the Home Is Where My Heart Is exhibition, held during National Homeless Persons Week. All money raised from sale of the prints will go directly back to the services supporting these homeless young people.

Ticketing

  • Join us on opening night – Thursday 5 August, 6pm-9pm
  • 834 Hay Street, Perth (opposite His Majesty’s Theatre)
  • Exhibition runs 6-15 August, 11am-5pm everyday.
