South Perth’s Old Mill Theatre is hosting the world premiere of two new short plays this September.
Black and White by Eilannin Dhu and directed by Dannielle Ashton, tells the journey of a young girl entrenched in a relationship of domestic violence and mental ill-health.
“The story focuses on her struggle to break out of the situation she’s in,” Ashton said. “It’s a deeply-moving piece that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Past Loves by Martin Lindsay and directed by Jeff Watkins lightens the mood. Past Loves is a farce that explores how a small suspicion of infidelity can affect relationships and friendships between two couples.
