Colosoul Art Exhibition and Auction 1/09/10 to 3/09/10

Join Colosoul for an evening of local art and musical talent. The Colosoul Group Inc. will be hosting an art auction for the Princess Margaret Hospital Burns Unit; an event to raise awareness of the obstacles and triumphs of young burns victims and their families.
The evening will include live music, food and drink and a speech from 2005 Australian of the Year Dr. Fiona Wood.
Up for auction are a variety of paintings and sculptures including local WA talents such as Greg Longman, Nathan Peake and Sophie Stockdale; as well as two signed Picasso lithographs.
75% of the sale of all works will be donated to Princess Margaret Hospital, 25% will return to the artists.
The Colosoul Group Inc. is a local not-for-profit publications house and training centre for young professionals in the media and arts sector, providing opportunities for inexperienced, as well as disadvantaged youths.
The PMH Total Care Burns Unit admits approximately 200 to 260 children with burn injury each year, with an average age of patients ranging from infants to adolescents.
