Izabela Pluta
Sydney based photographer Izabela Pluta’s practice explores the psychological connection (or disconnection) between places. Featuring a new series of large format photographs and a wallpaper mural this exhibition highlights work specially developed for PICA focusing on Western Australia’s resource industries.
Examining the semi-permanent, fly-in-fly out lifestyles of regions such as the Pilbara, Gestures of the Landscape delves into the impermanence and transience of WA’s mining towns.
