City of South Perth Emerging Artist Award 24/08/09 to 9/10/09
City of South Perth Art Award
Registrations for entry to the 2009 City of South Perth Emerging Artist Award is now open – giving Western Australian artists the opportunity to win up to $4,000.
The exhibition will take place at Heritage House from 29 October to 22 November 2009, with only selected works hung for the exhibition.
The prizes for the individual award categories in 2009 are very generous and include:
- $4,000 City of South Perth Art Award – Emerging Artist (Acquisitive)
- $500 Cellar on Preston Best Work on a Local Theme Award
- $500 MillPoint Caffe Bookshop Young Artist Award
- $500 John McGrath MLA Best Local Artist Award
- $500 The Karalee on Preston Peoples Choice Award
The City of South Perth Art Award is a Selected Work exhibition. All works submitted are judged however only those selected by the judging panel are exhibited.
