Where the Giant Fell transports the audience to a small town on the coast of Western Australia, where the ground hides buried secrets. This is the story of a remote community whose occupants retreat into myth and fairytale to escape their loneliness. Shadow play and illusion transform the theatre space into a dark, ethereal wonderland where a giant awakens, changing the lives of five young women forever.

Smashed is a one act play written by Lally Katz taht explores the friendship of two best friends, Hazel and Ruby, in the wake of a car accident . As an audience we time travel with the girls across the galaxy of space of time and find out what lead them to such a catastrophic event. The play explores the themes of friendship, love and how one copes with the loss of a loved one.

When Thomas was younger, a small yellow bird, Tweed, flew into his mind and has never been able to depart. How does Tweed make Thomas understand the emotions he his feeling, and the situations he is faced with?

WA Youth Slam Launch!

The WA Youth Slam is a poetry slam for young people in Western Australia.

What’s a poetry slam? It’s a competitive poetry performance. Up to 20 performers get 2 minutes each to impress 5 judges, who are chosen at random from the crowd. The judges give each poem a score out of 10, and the poet with the highest scores wins! It’s loud, fast-paced and energetic – everything you never thought poetry could be.

Demon Days is a new, four member Jazz Funk/Neo Soul collective set to blow audiences minds. Conceived while students at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, the group had the idea to put a fresh spin on contemporary music and create original songs that not only challenged them as musicians, but also intrigues and captivates the audience!

Siobhan Cotchin

At 16 years of age, 2015 CMAA Graduate and 2014’s winner of the Nannup Music Festival’s ‘Emerging Artist Award’ and Pirate 88 Metro Song of the Year (Youth - 2016), Siobhan Cotchin was always destined to be a performer and songwriter. Immersing herself in singing and playing guitar since the age of 8; her original songs are quirky and cleverly crafted with delightful vocal melodies and a tone that is her own.

The Rare Kind

The Rare Kind is an indie pop band formed in 2015 consisting of four young girls enthusiastic about music. Their musical inspirations include The Wombats, San Cisco, Twenty One Pilots and film scores. They cover songs from artist such as Adele, A Great Big World and Mumford and Sons and make them their own by changing the style or putting their own spin on it. They also do originals and love to write music. Their most recent one, 'Wait for the River', has been planned to be released as their first single.
