Black Swan State Theatre Company Announces Auditions for the 2010 HotBed Ensemble 12/10/09

The HotBed Ensemble is Black Swan’s professional development stream for emerging Western Australian artists which aims to nurture, stimulate and showcase a selection of Perth’s most imaginative and talented theatre-makers.

In partnership with the RAC the program includes exclusive skills development and workshop opportunities, close contact with Black Swan artists and professional wages during rehearsals and performance seasons.

After the success of The Dark Room and pool (no water) in 2009, the HotBed Ensemble is set to produce two imaginative contemporary works in 2010.

We are looking for 4 performers, a sound designer, lighting designer, AV designer and a set and costume designer to participate in 2010.

  • All performers who would like to be considered for an audition, please forward your head shot and C.V. to adam@bsstc.com.au by Friday 6th November. Auditions will be held from 12th – 14th November. Callbacks will occur on Wednesday 18th November.
  • All designers who would like to be considered for an interview please forward your C.V. to adam@bsstc.com.au by the Friday 6th November. Interviews will be held on Monday 16th November.
