Regional arts development officer vacancy 28/10/09
Gascoyne Regional Arts Development Officer position available!
In partnership with the Gascoyne Development Commission we are seeking a suitably qualified person to support arts and cultural development in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The position is to be based in Carnarvon but the Officer will travel throughout the region.
The successful applicant will have a background in arts development and strong project management, community engagement and strategic planning skills. The ability to identify opportunities, facilitate community cultural development through the arts, and develop partnerships will be important to this position. Experience working with young people, Aboriginal artists and communities, and working in regional or remote communities is desirable. Gascoyne residents and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
The salary range is $62,400 to $69,600 plus a regional living allowance.
