Held in celebration of National Youth Week, the KickstART Festival (Saturday 9 -  Sunday 24 April) features creative workshops, discussion forums, exhibitions, concerts and an abundance of special events for young people in the Perth area.

Some key events at the 2016 KickstART Festival include the KickstART Festival Day (Saturday 16 April), which will include the KickstART Markets, and KickstARTISTS; an art exhibition featuring local artists aged 12 – 25.

SELLING YOUR ART

During the KickstARTISTS exhibition, Artists are welcome and encouraged to offer up their submissions for sale to the general public. Artists are free to leave business cards and contact details with exhibition staff.

However, the staff and volunteers at Propel Youth Arts WA and the KickstART Festival are not permitted to sell your artwork on your behalf and any sales must be made privately between artist and customer. If you sell a piece during the KickstART Festival, you will be responsible for visiting The Showcase Gallery during opening hours to place a red dot on your artwork (red dots will be provided). If you are unable to do so, you will need to make arrangements with Project Officer, Laura Perini as soon as an artwork is sold.
