Become a peer educator! 14/04/10
The Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) is working on developing a series of youth peer education programs relating to issues facing young people around sexual health.
We need a group of interested, motivated, confident and creative young people aged 15 – 25 years to get involved! You will learn about STIs and BBVs, become a peer educator, and come up with some create ways to get the message out to other young people at Hyper events.
There are some great incentives to get involved:
- $100 gift voucher
- FREE training form the WA Aids Council
- New skills
- $500 for your team to get the message out there Community service or work experience hours and;
- A free ticket to Hyper Fest!
It is NOT essential that young people are from the City of Swan, as long as they can commit to weekly meetings in Midland.
Come along to the Hyper Fest info night at the Midland Junction Arts Centre, Tuesday 27th April, 7pm – 8pm.
RSVP to Tiff Leake on 0424 020 441 or tiff.leake@swan.wa.gov.au
