Artsource residency program - applications now open! 2/05/10

Artsource Residency – application deadline 30 June annually

Artsource is pleased to announce that we have three residency opportunities on offer this year – Basel, Switzerland; Artspace in Sydney; and the Artsource Residency fund – Wherever you want, whatever you want.

Artsource welcomes applications for an artist-initiated residency for up to $20,000. Residency outcomes are entirely up to the artist. They may include but are not limited to:

  • Getting you and your work out there – building gallery relationships, networking, promoting work, securing commissions, exhibiting
  • Finding a mentor, a peer or an expert to play with – an artistic partnership or mentorship, an opportunity for the development of technique
  • Seeing what’s out there – exploration and research in other places
  • Joining a formal structure, academic or otherwise – conferences, retreats, course of study, existing residency opportunities

Applicants must meet the general eligibility requirements and be Western Australian visual artists.
