Dance Mid-career Fellowship New Funding Program 6/08/09

The Dance Mid-Career Fellowship is open to individual established artists working in the areas of dance including, contemporary performance, choreography and dance-film.
The purpose of the Mid-Career Fellowship is to enable:
- Growth of your practice through research and development; and/or
- An increased national and international profile for you through participation in significant national and international events, workshops, residencies or festivals.
Fellowships should incorporate:
- A growth of your practice through research and/or developmental activities which focus on the pursuit of excellence
- Activities that build on, enhance or complement your previous practice and will assist you to develop your practice and profile; and
- A summary of what you wish to achieve and how you will evaluate your Fellowship. This should form part of your answers in the application form.
Please note: this is new funding program and as such details regarding the program are provided through guidelines not included in the current DCA handbook.

The Arts Development Program has one $30,000 Fellowship available.The DEADLINE is 5pm Friday 25th September 2009 for activity commencing after 1 January 2010.
