Work for Perth Festival: Digital Marketing Assistant Required 31/07/12

Perth Festival is seeking a web-savvy, enthusiastic and diligent individual to implement and maintain the Digital Marketing Strategy for the 2013 Perth Festival, under the supervision of the Marketing Coordinator.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In consultation with the Marketing team liaise with digital development agencies to ensure website is delivered no later than launch, 6pm 7 November 2012
  • Create, edit and upload multimedia content including video, audio, image galleries and PDF downloads
  • Maintain web content throughout the Festival
  • Track web statistics (through Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc), and document online campaigns
  • Develop, contribute to, monitor and maintain social networking profiles (Blog, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Flickr, Instagram etc)
  • Liaise with the Program Managers, Media Manager and Business Development to develop and execute tactical digital strategies that engage audiences in the Festival program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (patrons, sponsors) through the Festival’s digital platforms

The successful applicant will have

  • Extensive experience with social networking sites
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of CMS and photo/video editing programs
  • They will have excellent writing and proof reading skills and ideally prior knowledge of the performing arts industry.

Salary: $52,549 (pro rata)
