Catalyst Community Arts Fund 1/08/12
The Catalyst Community Arts Fund is run by CANWA and supports WA community arts and culture activities that express local culture, promote the values of community empowerment, social inclusion, and diversity. The focus of funding is on participatory and interactive events.
- The Innovate program is for artists and communities interested in developing new and innovative community arts practices. Applicants can apply for up to $15 000 per project ($15 000 available per round).
- The Create program is for community arts projects that express local culture and identity. It provides funding up to $15,000 per group ($75 000 available per round).
- The Develop program is a professional development category for community artists and community cultural development workers. It provides funding up to $10,000 per applicant ($10 000 available per round).
- The Explore program is for community arts projects that explore issues of mental health and/or engage with groups at risk of mental health issues. It provides funding of up to $10 000 per applicant ($25 000 available per round).
