At Keep Australia Beautiful we have dusted off the archives and found our TV ad from the 1980s and realised, just like litter, it belongs in the bin.

So now that we have trashed our ad, it’s over to you!

Create your own anti-littering ad you can win a trash can full of cash – that’s right $1000 is up for grabs! There is also a $500 peoples choice award.

Check out the website for competition details and to view other Keep Australia Beautiful ads from the 70s and 80s. You’ll see some interesting promotional concepts from the past, including 80s icon Norman Gunston, people turning into pigs and litterers in a police line up!
