Propel has a range of dynamic programs and special initiatives that engage young people in the arts and provides information, skills and mentoring to young and emerging artists, arts professionals, educators, schools and their communities.
Propel also develops and communicates best practice in youth arts and creates practical resources for those who work with young people.

Home is Where My Heart Is 2009
Home Is Where My Heart is a unique photographic exhibition held as part of National Homeless Persons Week through a collaboration between the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) and Propel Youth Arts WA. The exhibition serves as the culmination of a mentorship project that partners young emerging photographers and homeless youth, aimed at capturing images of their diverse interpretation of home. Disability and the Arts Inclusion Initiative (DAII)
Through a partnership between the Department of Culture and the Arts and the Disability Services Commission, Propel Youth Arts WA received funding to undertake the Disability and the Arts Inclusion Initiative (DAII) – a strategy to engage young people with a disability.
