The Art Gallery of Western Australia and Propel Youth Arts WA presents Peggy Guggenheim: A Collection in Venice Youth Art Workshops.

Be inspired by the abstract and surrealist works of the 20th Century modern art movement from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, with these interactive workshops featuring local artists Poppy Van Oorde-Grainger and George Domahidy.

  • WHERE: Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth Cultural Centre
  • COST: $27.50 (Screen Print Your Subconscious Workshop) or $33.00 (Become A Street Artist Workshop). Costs are per person per workshop. Cost also includes one entry only into Peggy Guggenheim exhibition! Offer is valid for one month only.

About Great Collections of the World

As the first exhibition in a new series titled Great Collections of the World, the Art Gallery of Western Australia brings a world-class exhibition from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice exclusively to Perth. The works in the exhibition display Peggy Guggenheim’s strong affinity for two key movements of 20th Century modern art: Surrealism and Abstraction. Some of the featured artists are: Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Jackson Pollock, René Magritte, Marcel Duchamp and Vasily Kandinsky.
