ArtsCAMP 2010

ArtsCAMP 2010 has been and gone. 29 arts mad young people between the ages of 15-17 were the given the opportunity to connect with the arts in Perth.

It was a whirlwind week with campers participating in a myriad of workshops including Aerosol Art, Circus, Flashmob, Film, RISO, Theatre, Zines and more! Campers also attended exhibitions, theatre shows and artist talks, all while getting to know what’s on offer in the Perth arts scene.

Healthway kindly supported 10 of our regional campers with travel bursaries, allowing a wide range of people from across the state to come and be a part of ArtsCAMP 2010!

This week long arts adventure saw friendships form in a creative environment where everyone was learning new things, but don’t take our word for it, here is what some of the campers had to say…

“It was one of the best things I have EVER done. I will never forget or regret this. The information I have gained has been incredible and I can’t wait to be part of the arts community next year.” – Michelle Endersbee – Merredin

“I had such a great time meeting people and trying new art forms, there were so many opportunities in a supportive and friendly environment.” – Indyana Chambers Galloway – Geraldton

“This camp has opened my eyes regarding the arts world and has really made me think about my career.” – Sarah Mccamish – Busselton

“It was a great experience that I will treasure forever, I have met new wonderful people which I will keep in contact with.” – Rebekah Pudney – Baldivis
