CAITLYN EDWARDS

Goldfields-Esperance Regional Rep

Caitlyn Edwards is madly passionate about all things arty. Based in Esperance, Western Australia; she has recently become Esperance Community Arts Youth Arts Ambassador for Performing Arts.

Caitlyn feels at home at the local ‘Bijou Theatre’ and her involvement has seen her not only as a performer, but also as a writer, director, stage manager, make-up artist and member of the crew. She has also helped with set design and decoration. Caitlyn is always eager to help at the theatre in any way she can.

Completing Visual Art as a TEE subject in high school with a major in sculpture has demonstrated that Caitlyn’s interests are not limited to the performing arts. Caitlyn has since assisted in several charity auctions and art exhibitions. She has also recently facilitated a five-week stenciling course at the Cannery Arts Centre.

Caitlyn hopes to encourage more youth in Esperance to get involved in the arts.
