KATE WILSON

South-West Regional Ambassador

Kate grew up in Donnybrook in the South West of WA, and although she now lives in Bunbury, she still considers herself a country kid. Involved in performing arts and writing in the South West region for as long as she can remember, Kate has always had a desire to help young artists to find their place their communities. She is interested in all art forms, visual, performance and otherwise, with a particular propensity towards theatre and creative writing. Kate is also trained as a children’s Speech and Drama teacher and her hobby is performance poetry.

As Propel Youth Arts WA’s regional rep, Kate hopes to increase youth involvement in the arts by connecting like-minded people and promoting arts opportunities.
