1 What is youth arts?
Youth arts can be broadly defined as young people taking part in creative, cultural or expressive activity outside of formal education. It can encompass participation and appreciation, as well as engagement with art work specifically created by, with and/or for children and young people .
2 How is Propel Youth Arts WA funded?
Propel receives ongoing funding and support from the WA State Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts in addition to sponsorship from diverse sources such as the Foundation for Young Australians, Healthway, and Minter Ellison Lawyers.
3 How do I donate to Propel Youth Arts WA?

4 Can Propel Youth Arts WA help me get work in the arts?
You can subscribe to the fortnightly Propel enewsletter – ‘e-zine’, to keep up-to-date with the latest work opportunities available. Check the About Propel – Vacancies section of the Propel website for information about current positions vacant and work experience opportunities at Propel.
5 How can I get permission to use images?
If you require an image to accompany a review or article about a current, recent or future event or program run by Propel, please contact the Communciations and Marketing Officer at hello@propel.org.au
6 Does Propel Youth Arts WA run workshops?
Propel runs a range of practical arts business workshops for young and emerging artists through the Amplifier program. Other programs, special events, forums and talks by artists are held throughout the year. For details of what’s coming up see the What’s On section of the website.
7 Does Propel Youth Arts WA have a volunteer program?
Propel accepts volunteers for both office and program work. For more information please see the About Propel – Vacancies section of this website.
