Empathy portraits: Life drawing in practice is presented as part of the Belonging: Expressing Cultural Identity workshop series, proudly supported by the Office of Multicultural Interests.
Empowering the multicultural voices of Perth, Belonging: Expressing Cultural Identity invites young people to take part in a series of story-making workshops, adding their voices, thoughts, and makings to the exhibition of the same name. Belonging is an eclectic collection of self-portraits where young people explore identity and culture through the things they make, the people they meet, and the stories they tell. Curated by Gabby Loo – an active comics artist studying Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia, of Shan (Myanmar) and Chinese ethnicity. Proudly supported by the Office of Multicultural Interests.
