About the WA Museum:

The WA Museum is the State's premier cultural organisation, holding Western Australia's scientific and cultural collections in trust for the people of Western Australia. The WA Museum's mission is to inspire people to explore and share their identity, culture, environment and sense of place, and to experience and contribute to the diversity and creativity of our world. The New Museum is one of the most significant museum developments in the world today. It is being developed with a 'People First' philosophy through meaningful opportunities for the people of WA to have input into identifying the stories that are important to the State and creating the experiences for sharing them.
