Ever wanted to write a song?

Join local musicians Jack Davies and Fraeya Evans as they delve into the beautiful murky depths of Perth songwriting, provide an intimate insight into their writing processes, before inviting you to create, collaborate and share songs within a safe space of like-minded music lovers.

About the facilitators:

Jack Davies is a bright young folk singer from Fremantle. After winning a number of local and national songwriting competitions as a youth, Jack has been focused on writing and playing music with his band at venues and festivals across WA, such as Fairbridge festival, Nannup, and the recent Fremantle Falls Festival. Currently pursuing a degree in English Literature at Notre Dame, Jack's songs are witty and lyrically complex folk tales of suburban Perth.

Fraeya Evans is an 18 year old Australian singer/songwriter currently showcasing her lyrically intricate electric sound to the audiences of Perth City. Moving up from her regional hometown of Busselton to attend WAAPA in 2017, she has now completed a Diploma of Contemporary Music and is sharing her raw stories of pain and experience through captivating songwriting and vocal delivery.
