Been watching comedians on YouTube? Got something to share but don’t know where to start?
Comedy Starter Kit is a workshop opportunity which provides skills, confidence and knowledge about Perth’s comedy scenes. Facilitated by Nadia Collins, this workshop caters to brand-new and emerging comedians, who may feel like their voices have been ‘Othered’ in comedy spaces. Participants will be guided through low-pressure improv activities and easy-to-use writing techniques, while learning how to develop material, refine delivery and conquer comedic timing. This is a safe-space for young comedians to practice performing and prepares them to book and ace their first gig!
