Craft is for everyone! Or at least, that’s what Leah Vlatko thinks.
Join her for a low-press and anti-expectation opportunity to make something crafty. This drop-in workshop allows you to participate as you please, and to spend as much or as little time crafting as you desire with plenty of different materials and processes to work with, including collage, crochet, felt puppets, knitting, sketching, and clay work. Come join a gentle revolution of creative freedom. This is craft on your own terms.
About Leah Vlatko
Leah Vlatko is a textile artist passionate about redefining what craft means in a contemporary setting. Slowing down and making things by hand, using ethically sourced yarns, and empowering handmade and DIY as a resistance to consumerism and slave labour. Through her practice Vlatko is contributing to the changing narrative of craft as a form of public interaction and collaboration, rather than a tool limited to the domestic woman's sphere.
