Sketchbook Project Exhibition

For eight consecutive years, Propel has sent out blank sketchbooks to hundreds of participants across WA, ready to be cut, painted and inked, filled with designs, stories or drawings from young people across our vast State.

Check out this year’s Sketchbook Project submissions in the KickstART Nook at the State Library of WA, before they head on an 18 month tour around regional and suburban libraries as part of the Travelling Sketchbook Exhibition.

The State Library is open from 9.00am until 8.00pm Mondays to Thursdays; 9.00am until 5.30pm Fridays; and 10.00am until 5.30pm on weekends.

About the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival offers young people aged 12 - 26 an extensive range of free workshops, performances, exhibitions, talks, special events, and new initiatives for 2019.

The Youth Week WA KickstART Festival 2019 is presented by Propel Youth Arts WA, and is funded by the State Government of Western Australia. The KickstART Festival is also supported by Lotterywest, the City of Perth, and the Perth Theatre Trust.
