Great for any young person aged 10 – 16, who has a passion for books, reading or creating elaborate excuses about their homework!

Join the team from Globe Town Project as they encourage you to get creative with your narratives, so bring your best ideas with you.

This event is part of a rotating series of three drop-in workshops at the WA Maritime Museum for the KickstART Festival. Throughout this day, entry to the museum will be offered free everyone aged 26 and under!

Each workshop will run three times throughout Sunday 14 April, at the following times:

  • 10am – 11am

  • 11.30am – 12.30pm

  • 1.30pm – 2.30pm

About Globe Town Project

Globe Town Project enables social connection, wellbeing, and collaboration through storytelling and creative arts practice. Our flagship project for young people is StoryLab, our storytelling centre based at Paper Bird Books in Fremantle. StoryLab helps young people to develop their creative voice through the sharing of ideas and stories. StoryLab offers a range of fun creative workshops in three main areas; creative writing, spoken word and comic book illustration.

About the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival offers young people aged 12 - 26 an extensive range of free workshops, performances, exhibitions, talks, special events, and new initiatives for 2019.

The Youth Week WA KickstART Festival 2019 is presented by Propel Youth Arts WA, and is funded by the State Government of Western Australia. The KickstART Festival is also supported by Lotterywest, the City of Perth, and the Perth Theatre Trust.
