How can conversations with our friends turn into scripts for an audience of strangers?
Theatre maker and feminist powerhouse Charlotte Otton leads participants through processes of creating theatre shows which are honest, relatable and maybe even confrontational. Through writing exercises, playing with physicality and facilitated discussions, Charlotte teaches participants how to devise and develop theatre shows from their own lived experiences. Your Stories On Stage is an opportunity for any young people interested in theatre making, at all points of their practice. Come develop your first scene, or refine an idea you’ve had for years.
Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of their younger self to this workshop.
