Playful Percussion

Using his experience as a composer and performer, Pavan Kumar Hari will teach participants about world percussion instruments such as the Tabla (Indian), Djembe (African) and Cajón (Spanish). After learning about the culture and background of these instruments, participants will be taught how to make music with them. This workshop will conclude with a drum circle, where everyone is invited to jam and experiment with different instruments.

Using food we will use renewable energy from within to run LED lights and create a glowing fruit bowl sculpture to feature on your dining table.
