Gerald died. He died in very much the same way he lived: uneventfully. But despite returning a zombie, little changed in his mundane, mediocre life. He’s troubled by the same problems, the same people, the same lacklustre existence. With a longing for things to change, Gerald seeks the aid of a questionable, self-aggrandized physician, Dr. Karl, and attempts to initiate enlightening changes in his life. But between excruciatingly desperate co-workers, lascivious Jehovah’s Witnesses and an impulsive girlfriend, he’s on a futile search to find meaning where none exists. Maybe he can find it and smile and laugh like the rest of us. Or not.
