Are you motivated to get involved in the emerging arts scene by volunteering time, energy and skills to employing Paper Mountain’s 2015 program?
Applications are currently being sought for new Co-Directors and Creative Associates to join a dedicated and enthusiastic team of emerging artists and curators to run Northbridge’s most dynamic gallery and studio space.
Paper Mountain presents a top-notch program of surprising new art and ideas, and is dedicated to supporting a broad span of contemporary art projects. The space exists to nurture experimentation, challenge artists’ practices, and encourage collaboration and skill/resource sharing
Directors are appointed to the board of Paper Mountain on a voluntary term of eighteen months directorship. The board currently consists of eight members, each of whom dedicate their time to roles to various areas including Communications, Finance, Studios, Gallery and Exhibitions, Special Projects, The Common Room and Grants and Sponsorships.
Positions available for 2015:
- Co-Director (Communications Manager)
- Co-Director (Gallery Manager)
- Volunteer Manager
- Studio Manager
- Graphic Designer(s)
- Media Liaison
- Marketing Officer
The next few years will mark an important phase for Paper Mountain, as we seek to strengthen our involvement in the creative community. Building on the success we have had in 2014 in solidifying the position of Paper Mountain financially taking on the role of Co-Director or Creative Associate at this point in the history of Paper Mountain will be a chance to implement new ideas in programming, design, marketing etc.
It is an exciting, rewarding – and also demanding – time to be involved in Paper Mountain! And we invite Co-Directors and Creative Associates to leave their mark on Paper Mountain through innovation and dedication.
