Festival Day Music @ James Street Amphitheatre
This year’s KickstART Festival Day music lineup has been curated by young people to offer something for everyone, spanning genres and cultures, with a diverse lineup of local young emerging artists, such as:
Desert Feet Mobile Truck Stage
This incredible music line-up will be brought to you live in the James Street Amphitheatre, on the amazing Desert Feet mobile truck stage.
Desert Feet Inc is an incorporated association that aims to support development of indigenous music and to bring indigenous music to mainstream Australia. The heart of their business is Desert Feet Tour – tours to remote indigenous communities to engage through music on a number of levels: tuition, recording and performing. It is through this process of cultural exchange through music, dance and the performing arts that the organisation will achieve its vision to contribute to reconciliation. Desert Feet Inc has also developed Desert Feet Records, a not for profit record label for the purpose of supporting and promoting indigenous music from signed artists, and Desert Feet Productions, which is the recording and staging facility on the state-of-the-art converted truck.
Propel Youth Arts WA is proud to partner with Desert Feet to present live music in the heart of Northbridge for the KickstART Festival Day and Closing Concert events.
