Explore over 60 dynamic stalls during the KickstART Market Day on Saturday April 11.

Each stall will showcase the very latest in fashion, arts, craft and design from local young artists.

This year's KickstART Festival will be the biggest one ever and, as such, the KickstART Market Day will be even more filled-to-the-brim with stalls and activities than in years past.

So, without further ado, let us introduce this year's stallholders! 


A-OK is a new aspiring artist going who has just started out creating work last year, though she has always been developing my style. With inspiration from the likes of Bei Badgirl, OMOCAT and Mel Stringer and heavily influenced by Japanese street culture and Ukiyo-E, A-OK is looking forward to selling original prints, stickers and more during KickstART Market Day


Anna Carla Beachwear

Anna Carla Beachwear is the unity of artist Annette Searing’s energetic artworks, timeless and trendy design style and an innate commitment to support sun safety. Using high UV protective fabrics, every piece is designed to cover certain areas of the female body prone to sunburn. The lightweight lycra is overlaid with Annette’s original artist prints making all Anna Carla Beachwear pieces unique and sun protective alternative swimwear.


Baked 180

Baked 180 are all about cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes. Is there need to say more? Head to Bake 180’s stall to purchase a freshly made, sweet, delicious cupcake, the perfect treat when roaming the KickstART Festival!

Bettie Dreadful is a Perth based fashion label that makes alternative clothing and custom items such as costumes, accessories, headwear & more. They also have a twin sister brand - Bettie Kawaii. These two labels each have their own style - one light and cutesy, the other dark and vintage with a pop twist.  



Boonadoo is a small business - based in Perth, Western Australia - who make a range of creative products from home decor, accessories and unique art. They do a select number of markets around Perth as well as sell online. They provide design and engraving services to individuals as well as to businesses and sporting clubs.  


Jakob Boyd (A.K.A. The Laundry Man)

Jakob Boyd AKA the Laundry Man, is active in Perth's fledging Spoken Word Poetry scene. Growing up in a creative family, he's enthusiastic about poetry. He edits and publishes a fortnightly zine of alternative poetry. Jakob is looking to re-print past issues and issues to come and give them a wider circulation in a creative environment. He will also sell other booklets and zines from local poets to represent the wider scene.    


Childlike Empress Vintage is a collection of sweet vintage clothing for babies and little kids. Hand-knitted jumpers, hand-sewn onesies, art smocks & sailor suits. We hope you'll find something that will make you smile, and maybe make a bub in your life smile, too!


Coconut+Cream Designs

Coconut+Cream Designs is all about handmade island-inspired prints, which have been printed onto cushions, clothing and other homewares using eco-friendly ink. Each piece is unique and lovingly made by hand, therefore parts of the design might be slightly darker or lighter in places, giving it a nice rustic/vintage feel. This also means that no two pieces will be exactly alike and your piece will be one of a kind!


Creations in a Teapot

Creations in a Teapot is inspired by master illustrators from the early 20th century, saluting the era by endorsing the classical formula with a twist of contemporary flavour. This is shared through a range of children's books, greeting cards and prints. Each creation contains imagery full of nostalgia and childhood memories.  Printed on archival paper these treasures become generational heirlooms for many families.

Decorate You

Handmade jewellery and displays by Kristen Till, including beautiful items such as earrings, necklaces and the occasional bracelet or hair piece, along with fabric pouches and totes. Come and check out the Decorate You stall during the 2015 KickstART Festival. Decorate You loves creating jewellery with a range of colourful and sweet fabrics, to make sure you look sweet as a button!


The Delightful Crafternoon Society

The Delightful Crafternoon Society is a group of eight steadfast young women who adore all things handmade. They share a determination to perpetuate handmade crafts in a world where more and more products are made without any human touch. The society gathers regularly to develop friendships based on our collective ideals, and to create our crafted items together.


Using dolls house pieces and buttons to create jewellery such as brooches, earrings, necklaces and hair bows - such as little plastic food pieces on hair bows - Dominarium also sells very original quirky / kitchy / arty socks and various other quirky items of jewellery.    



Inspired by the phrase "dream on", Dream-Em makes and sells homemade dreamcatchers of various sizes and colours, and also sells home crafted jewellery and keyrings, plus recycled candle holders and various other homewares.

Benjamin Ee

Benjamin Ee 22 year old artist who loves to paint and draw, and is currently working his way towards becoming a full time illustrator. He will be selling prints of his digital work, as well as some sketches, at the 2015 KickstART Market Day.



Edwina Flowers is an artist and illustrator who is massively influenced by Japanese art and Art Nouveau. She will be selling handmade art, buttons, cards, sculptures, prints, and more during market day. 


The Forest Mori

The products sold by The Forest Mori are entirely handmade with love. They include earrings, brooch pins, necklaces and garlands. Each design is created using materials such as clay and wood.

Gentleman & Scholar Apparel

Gentleman & Scholar is a studio based men’s apparel label. All of our handmade products are made here in Perth, using new, vintage and dead-stock fabrics to guarantee originality. Our mission is to bring back the refined man, and we aim to do this through dressing our gentlemen in alternative dapper attire; as well as providing a hub for inspiration and education around wearing, sourcing and using men’s clothing and products.      


Hello Mr Badger

Hello Mr Badger creates a range of authentic handmade vintage jewellery for women, men and children. The collection includes a variety of uniquely styled necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, cufflinks, tie pins and broaches. Custom artistic designs are always encouraged from prospective clients. Each piece is created to maintain individualism, ensuring that the wearer can be confident that their piece is a one-off creation.


Henna Kala

Nikita Stockinger shares her passion for henna through her down to earth business Henna Kalā. Henna is completely natural temporary body art, made from dried up ground leaves of the Henna plant. With the art lasting anywhere between one and two weeks, it's a great way to decorate you body, without a permanent effect. She also sells photo albums, diaries, cards and cases with various henna designs on them.



Braille occasional cards are tactile handmade cards featuring the Braille code, to produce pictures that can be both felt and seen. Jayde's Braille Cards have taken on a life of their own and are ever-growing in popularity. Come and say at KickstART Market Day and maybe buy some cards. Brand new designs will be available on the day.



After a very long time trying to find the perfect stationery, we decided to create it. K Gets Organised is a system – you can use a single product or the full range interchangeably as all products work together to help you chase down your dreams. All stationery is designed in WA, printed in WA and on 100% recycled paper.    



Keeping Sunday is an Australian handmade spa and beauty company for men and women. Every product is hand-crafted with all natural ingredients sourced from Australian companies and suppliers to support our local businesses. 5% of every purchase is donated to help support and contribute to important worldwide projects.



Kelly Emma is a self-taught artist who's passion for drawing sprung at a very young age, after discovering the potential a packet of colouring pencils could have in depicting the depths of her imagination and view of reality. She will be selling a range of her artworks in the form of limited edition prints, original artworks, and potentially some small sculptures.

Lad and Lass Clothing produces hand-printed garments in Fremantle. Designs are created by local artists and printed using eco-friendly water-based inks onto W.R.A.P certified 100% cotton clothing.    


Little Hell

With a clear love and passion for the natural world and art, Little Hell’s clothing designs are all intricately hand drawn and then screen-printed all by the designer here in WA. Each design is created by penicil or fine liner until it’s ready for screen printing for both ladies and gents clothing. Looks like Little Hell will have something for everybody!



Lions & Unicorns creates festival-inspired clothing for women. Our products range from two pieces, dresses, rompers and separates, to accessories such as scrunchies and chokers. We also rework a small number of vintage pieces into modern styles. Lions & Unicorns strive to to create unique designs and encourage individuality with customers.

At 15, Orlando Hadwin created Loco Lepus with encouragement from her creative parents and high school art teacher. Inspired to draw by her love of rabbits and art, her unique cards, prints and badges are beautifully hand drawn with water coloured pencils and will be available for you to purchase at this year’s KickstART Market Day. These designs are also available in prints along with new additions inspired by traditional Day of the Dead artwork.



Handcrafted leather products - including bags, belts, journals, earrings, hair clips, and watches - will be on display at the Matoirs stall.  The designer's father is a traditional bookbinder and her aim with Matoirs is to keep the old art of leather craft alive and to provide people with durable, practical and beautiful products.


Modern Musings

Modern Musings wants to create change. They source inspiration from life, raising awareness of the darkness, and how to bring it to light. Through cards, paper, ink, watercolour and paint, they produce homemade poetry prints, poetry cards, inspirational cards and handmade greeting cards.


Holly O'Meehan

Holly's range of products are crocheted jewellery and objects, hand made pieces that bring a modern edge to a traditional craft technique. The "soft jewellery" collection ranges from various necklace styles, lengths and colours, to "soft bangles" and bracelets, and even petite studded earrings.

You will love Patches for two reasons: first because their pieces make the little things in life more extraordinary, and second because all profits go towards charity! Each piece is with made from scratch or re-made from unique op-shop finds.



Jade is an emerging Aboriginal artist from Perth, and has Nyoongar and Eastern Arrernte heritage. She sells own Aboriginal style paintings. I sell a range of painting canvas sizes, clothing, shoes, frames, notepads and natural elements such as rocks, leaves, paperbark and gumnuts.

Ashleigh Perrella is an illustrator who sells her floral designs on paper goods and fine art prints. She likes to say that she "draws flowers for joy" and to spread some happiness through her vibrant and whimsical illustrations. Ashleigh comes to the KickstART Market Day after successful stints at Beaufort Street Festival and Made on the Left markets.



Pip & Printer is the business baby belonging to creative jack-of-all-trades Lisa Hannaford. Through Pip & Printer, Lisa aims to create whimsical textiles while aiming to follow values such as producing locally, designing sustainably and not harming the planet.


Recycled Rainbow

Recycled Rainbow is not about profit. It’s about a love of opshops & vintage & old-fashioned grooviness, a love of colour and craziness, environmentally friendly habits & materials. It’s about stepping back from 100% online and chain store staleness. It’s about every piece being completely unique – just like us.  


Roadside Gems Jewelry

Fresh from the US, Roadside Gems is now in Perth, ready to showcase her transformations of trash into treasure! Artist Sam Goldman will be showcasing a variety of unique street funk jewellery crafted from upcycled, repurposed and sustainably-produced materials from op-shops, creative reuse centres and even items found on the street. Sam is developing a brand new line for the KickstART Market Day.

Quote art and typography creations, watercolour paintings, decorations, and a whole lot more!  Ruby Tangerine has been busy creating: Art. Type. Mischief. Good vibes. All of this with the goal of creating a sustainable business that promotes positive change.


THE Scarlet Harlot

The Scarlet Harlot create pieces as darling as their name. Think whimsical flower crowns, beautiful and unique floral hair accessories, fascinators and hair clips. Inspired by beauty and nature, The Scarlet Harlot sources materials locally, online and at op-shops to create one of a kind pieces that includes beads, pearls and other found objects. They will also be selling some charming beaded earrings with their other pieces at the KickstART Festival.

Shlives is an Illustrator, who delves into the stranger side of art. "I like to use as many different mediums as I can, In my store I'd like to sell handmade Stickers, Framed Traditional Illustrations, hand printed T-Shirts and Clothing and sheets of timber with illustrated elements on them."



The not-so-spontaneous artwork of Hanaé Meyer. Original art, designs, prints, life drawing, and writing. Hanaé produces a wide range of original art, framed and ready to hang - these works are in water colour, gauche, paper collage, and pastel. She also make signed and numbered prints of graphics based on classic literature titles. 


Square One

A variety of designer wares, illustrations and up-cycled art, ranging from re-purposed vinyl records, skate decks, canvases to posters and prints. Square One is run through the Australian Graphic Design Association WA, giving students and graduates the opportunity to sell their artwork with ease, and expose themselves to the wider creative community.


Ella Steiner

Ella Steiner is a young artist who specialises in handmade cards, bookmarks and artworks ranging from sizes A5 to A3. These include detailed, handcut papercuts, watercolour illustrations and lino prints. 

The Vacancy Club

The Vacancy Club is a brand new venture that explores analogue photography, design and the idea of incorporating plants into spaces, combining a love of gardening, design and film photography. Featured items at the KickstART Market Day will include homewares such as cushion covers, baskets, candle holders, shelve brackets, planters, plant balls.    




Hand-drawn illustrations and typography designed by Nathania Widjanarko will be available at this year's KickstART Market Day, in the form of art prints/posters of various sizes, greeting cards, postcards, phone cases, pillow, stickers and handmade hairbows.
