PIVOT is a professional development initiative for young and emerging artists, creatives, and arts-workers in WA.

PIVOT offers best-practice resources, and networking opportunities to help young people navigate their creative careers. First launched in 2021, the PIVOT initiative has since delivered two in-person programs: Arts Admin for Sustainable Careers and Where Creativity Meets Business.

PIVOT: Passion to Practice

For 2023, Propel presents PIVOT: Passion to Practice, which will be delivered as a one-day conference event - on Saturday December 2nd, 2023, at The Platform in East Perth, from 9am to 5pm - serving as a springboard for learning, networking, and gaining insights into WA’s dynamic arts landscape.

The 2023 PIVOT program will be supplemented by the release of the PIVOT Digital Toolkit (PDT) an innovative new digital hub set to provide essential professional development resources exclusively for Propel members. The PDT will be officially released in early 2024 but attendees for the PIVOT: Passion to Practice conference will receive early access to a preview of the resource.

All PIVOT venues are wheelchair accessible and if you have specific access requirements please contact Propel at hello@propel.org.au or call us on 08 9328 5855 to discuss how we can facilitate you attending a PIVOT event.

Propel Youth Arts WA is committed to making our events accessible to all who wish to attend. Propel has a NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds) policy. Please contact us if you would like to discuss NOTAFLOF options available to you.
