2018 Emerge: Youth Art Awards

Entries for the City of Nedlands 2018 Emerge: Youth Art Awards are now open with a $2,000 prize pool up for grabs.

Now in their sixth year, the awards are coordinated by the Nedlands Youth Advisory Council and open to people aged 12 to 25 for two-dimensional art works using print, photography, painting, drawing or other methods.

YACWA are calling out to Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, migrant and refugee young people to apply to be apart of Shout Out.

Shout Out is an incredible opportunity for indigenous and CaLD youth to confidently share their stories and experiences to captive audiences. As a speakers you'll also be booked and paid by Gov and non-gov organisations!

Hidden Movements is a creative development program, where up to 5 young dancers from all disciplines will work under the guidance of local dance artist Bernadette Lewis, to develop their skills in choreography, improvisation, and take their own individual artistic practices to the stage in a solo public showings at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia during the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival.
