The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarships offer talented young artists (aged 21-35 at the closing date) the chance to explore, study and develop their artistic gifts through travelling either interstate and/or overseas.

In 2024, the scholarships will provide financial support for the disciplines of acting, instrumental music, painting and poetry to help talented Australian artists achieve their dreams. In 2025, the scholarships will provide financial support for the disciplines of architecture, ballet, prose, sculpture and singing.

The Variety Heart Scholarships support the continued development of talented or gifted WA kids between ages 5 to 17, striving to achieve excellence in fields of the arts, sport, or academics.

The 2023 City of Belmont Art Awards will be held from the 2-16 September at The Glasshouse located within the grounds of Faulkner Park Belmont adjacent to the City of Belmont Civic Centre, Belmont Hub Library and Museum.

Scholarship of up to $10,000 are available to young artists / creatives aged 35 and under who have a strong association to the Shire of Mundaring.
