The Arts Short Notice Activity Program (Arts SNAP) for individuals and groups offers funding for regional, national and international short notice activities for artists and creative industry professionals. Round 2 of applications closes this June 2024.
The prestigious Robert Juniper Award for the Arts offers up to $10,000 annually to assist young creatives under 35 years reach their dream. If you are a young creative person under 35 years old, with a strong association to the Mundaring Shire, we can assist you with taking your creative pursuit to somewhere you imagine it could be. 35 – Stories to Stage is a mentorship program for 5 artists who create other mediums and genres, to create and perform a short performance work. Inspired by their core practice. 5 artists from non-theatre backgrounds will be supported with 1-on-1 mentoring to develop their words or concepts into a short performance, to be presented within The Blue Room Theatre for 2 nights in July. Applications open April 18th and close May 14th.

The Blue Room Theatre’s Short Works Program, 600 SECONDS is returning to Summer Nights in 2024! If you have the nugget of an idea that might not be a fully-fledged festival show, 600 SECONDS could be perfect for you. You will create and present a 10-minute performance piece and receive a small seed fund and support from a program mentor.
If you find yourself sitting with a beaming creative idea and are in the age bracket of 12 to 26, pitch your project for the next KickstART Festival in April 2024! Remember your idea can take any shape or form, including (but not limited to!) performances, workshops, exhibitions, talks, and mentorship programs.
