The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s prestigious regional art exhibition, Art Prize, is returning for 2023 with artwork registrations opening on 1 March with an Open Theme.
The annual Art Prize is an acquisitive visual arts exhibition, displaying work from multiple media. The artwork on display is created by local Kalgoorlie-Boulder artists as well as artists from across the Goldfields and Western Australia.
It is an acquisitive prize exhibition, with artists having the opportunity to win from the $36,000 prize pool of 12 categories.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder has a growing reputation for being a hub for regional arts and culture, influenced by a rich industrial heritage and diverse community. The Art Prize provides an opportunity to celebrate this artistic vibrancy and creativity within the local community and beyond.
