🧑🎨 Calling all visual artists! 🧑🎨
If you are a young artist that makes anything that can be exhibited in a gallery (sound/video works, sculpture, painting and everything in-between) we want to hear from you.
EOIs are now open for the inaugural City of Melville and KickstART Festival Youth Art Exhibition. We are interested in creating an opportunity for young artists to experience the process of exhibiting work and having people come to see it. You do not have to be a resident of the City of Melville to apply, this opportunity is open to all Western Australian artists.
If selected to exhibit, you will receive:
Space to show your work at the City of Melville gallery, free of charge.
The opportunity to work with an exhibitions mentor, who will be available to assist you with installing your work and writing an artist statement, as needed.
The chance to sell your work (if you are interested).
High quality documentation of your work in the space.
There will also be a winner of the exhibition, voted by attendees, with the prize being free exhibition space!
