The Australian Decorative & Fine Arts Society Perth (ADFAS Perth) are pleased to announce the launch of their inaugural Youth Arts Award (YAA).

The total prize pool is $2,000 and there are 2 age categories:

• Junior Award (ages 13-17) $500 prize

• Young Adult Award (ages 18-22) $1,500 prize.

The award funds are intended to be used to assist promising young Perth artists to create an art project, such as the creation of a body of work or an exhibition in the visual arts (for example drawing, painting, video, photography and sculpture). Applications open on 30 April 2021 and close on 31 July 2021. Winners will be notified 1 September 2021.
